In recent years, landscape lighting has become increasingly sophisticated. The technology has
grown from flood lights used for up lighting trees and palms in the 1950’s to the low voltage
units in the 80’s, to the multiple and far more reliable systems of today. While one can spend
thousands on programmed lighting (think Disney) we suggest that you consider using
inexpensive solar lighting. Solar lighting units come in a variety of styles and designs with
numerous applications that last for years. The units in the photo above were recently
purchased for about $5.00 each and provide a great look for our client’s pool area. Also note,
the pink light floating in the pool. It too is solar and carries chlorine tablets to treat the water!
